If you can't catch a wave you are never gonna ride it
- We earned 1,50$ (about 11 kr) for a big bucket of tomatos. After a whole day of picking we managed to pick 23 buckets, which is about 34$ (255 kr) !!! SO not worth the load and back ache the day after...
- The farmer is supposed to pay you each other week. People how had worked there for a month still haden't gotten thier salary
- They were threatening to take of 10$ of each workers salary for the day because some people had been picking green tomatos and not taking the stock off
- We were greenish yellow from head to toe with insecticides spray from the plants
- Last but not least we got to hitch hike back to Melbourne city real cheap with to other guys who arrived at the farm the same day as us.
The first night back in Melbourne we got to spend at an friends house, because every hostel in melbourne are so expensive due to the Grand Prix going on this week. He and his friends picked us up at a pier in St Kilda by boat (sweet!), and ooh you should have seen the sun set that night. It was incredable, so beautiful!
The next day we went home to Glenda and are staying there until Sunday, when the hostel prices are dropping again. We went to see Dom's second performance with his band on wednessday and how they have developed from just one show to another.
On thursday we had a reunion with Petrol and Siri and tonight it's time for our "seen u later"-party since they are leaving for Sydney on Monday.
We also have new plans for our trip. On wednessday we are leaving for Adelaide and heading for a three day tour to the Uluru!! Then taking the flight back to Sydney to search for work. Siri and Petrol told us about a job outside of Sydney on a farm were the main duty is to milk the cows and we are thinking about joing them hahah!

We have just returned from a couple of very nice days in the Italien alps, Alagna with Macke, U-K, Dag and Lisa whom all send their greetings to you. We had 1 sunny + 1 cloudy/snowy day. Also talked to Ully in Switzerland who follow your blogg and told me he liked your photos. Try to continue write in english on and off to allow anglophone friends to follow your adventures. Anton have managed well without mum & dad, he had 8 friends over yesterday for a bbq + they sat in the outdoor room all evening (with the infra-heater on)! He had made up the house very neatly before we returned. Love from Birdstreet

Härligt att höra att ni kommit helskinnade från övernattning hos pojkar ( nästan okända?) och återfärd från tomatplantaget. Tur att Glenda finns. Hoppas ni betalat bra för boende där. Här väntar vi på varmare väder, det ska bli sol och 10-15 grader varmt. Vi ( pappa och jag) jobbar på i jet fart och har just blivit bjudna till Norrholmen av Nina och Lasse nästkommande helg. Helgen i Alanga var super!! OCh intensiv jag sitter och gäspar stup i ett och är snart på väg mot sängen. Hoppas få höra av er snart igen.
