Alice Spring's!
Hello mates!
We have finally arrived at Alice Spring's after a 21 hour bustrip with a overnight stop at Coober Pedy. Which was Awesome! The backpacker's hostel we stayed at was placed underground, and is rinked as the third coolest hostel in the world. At first place was a hostel in Norway which is built in a 200 year old pine tree.
Now back to Alice Spring's. Tomorrow morning at 5:45 am... the buss to King's Canyon departures. We are going to spend the day there hiking and climbing the King's Canyon. The next day the tour makes it's way to Kata Tjuta, were we hike through The Valley of the Winds, before watching the sunset over Uluru. The following morning we are going to witness the magical sunrise and then take a base walk around Uluru. We get dropped off att Ayer's Airport and arrive in Sydney the same day to meet up with our swedish girls'. And hopefully we will start working somewhere around sydney very shortly!
It feels as if this trip is going to be the climax of our visit here i Australia. For us Ayer's Rock is the symbol of Australia and we are only hours away from experiencing it! Wicked!
Since we have missed some days writting here in the blog due to no internet access, here comes the punchlines of "Dagens citat". Enjoy!
On the buss listening to the radio
Linnea: Johanna his voice reminds me so much of Per Gesele! Wiered...
Johanna: That's not so strange Linnea since it is Roxette.
Just arrived to Coober Pedy at 5 am. We are tired and have no clue in which direction to head for the hostel. Set on sleeping at the bus stop for a few hours Linnea is repacking her bag, when Johanna starts jabbering about to hop on the bus.
Linnea: Johanna wtf are you talking about, Im putting on my shoe's for god's sake!?
Johanna: NIKE LINNEA THOMAZDOTTER CARLON, shut up and follow me NOW!
And ofcourse the punchline! My new nickname from my dear aussie friend Lachie, which Johanna is using continuously... Winnea
Radeka Underground Hostel
The dorm
Welcome to Coober Pedy
Johanna trying to learn how to play the Digeridoo
Museum visit to an underground Opal mine
Johanna with her new man!
A Gooner!
How the miners got in and out of the mine... sick!
How they lived underground
Johanna tried thier toilett...
Then we went to visit the KANGEROO'S!
It was an kangeroo orphan
They loooved wasabi peas and cheese doddles
BABY ROO!
Only 453 km left to Alice Spring's weeey...
So it was just to tie on the shoe's and start walking
Mr and Mrs Aussie! Cheers mate
